Who is Lyla?
As an outcast, Lyla struggles to join forces with her fellow mermaids. She's a fierce mermaid and very determined and passionate. However, she might not be alone for too long as she soon develops feelings for Zac. A loner and a bit of a rebel, Lyla lives her life as a mermaid and is perfectly content swimming alone all day. She has fun in her own way, and she isn't used to having to rely on others, so she can be a little stubborn at times.
Lyla has learned the importance of friendship - and after starting out as the most reluctant to go ashore, she is now the one who's most reluctant to go back to the sea. After some time, she decides to leave Mako and go back to the pod again with Nixie to find a new home.
